Scores of Bradpole residents turned out on a glorious summer afternoon to join in a community picnic to celebrate the protection of this important community asset.

Gore Cross Green has been protected in perpetuity as a recreational green space by the Parish Council entering into a Deed of Dedication with Fields in Trust. http://www.fieldsintrust.org/Field_Listing.aspx?postcode=dt6%203FB

Dozens of photos of the event have been received and a selection is available in our PHOTO GALLERY

Thanks to all helpers, musicians and everyone who contributed to make this a successful event.

And What About 2018?

Bradpole councillors have agreed in principle to host a second Community Picnic in 2018. You have provided many ideas on what activities you would like to see. This is a Community event and we ask volunteers to come forward to help make this an even better event than in 2017. Please get in touch if you would like to register your interest. Contact
