Bradpole Community Groups

Community groups form the backbone of our local society and there are many possible sources of funding available to these groups.

Community Groups can be involved in all sorts of ways within the civil parish such as working in collaboration with the parish council to manage and enhance our important green spaces.

Bradpole Parish Council is keen to encourage and facilitate the formation of such groups within the Community.

If you want to know more about creating such a Group contact the Parish Council who can give you support and guidance.

If you already have a Community based group here and would like to have some details of your activities posted on this page please let us know.

‘Tots @ Ten’

Parents and carers will be most welcome to join others with pre-school children for coffee or tea in the church on Wednesdays from to during term time. The children are served a fruit snack.

We move the chairs to one side so there is plenty of room for the children to have lots of fun and use up their energy! There is a good selection of toys and games and we have a sing-song.

There are nappy changing facilities in the toilet.

There is no charge but donations are always welcome!

All our helpers have been CRB checked.

If you would like to know more about this group please contact either Marian Scott 01308 456781 or Judith Baldwin 01308 424232.

Tuesday Club

If you are aged between 6 and 11, you will be made very welcome at the village hall at 6pm on Tuesdays during term-time for an hour of fun and creativity for 50p.

We have a variety of activities so there is something for everyone including team games, craft activities, table-top games, beetle drives, wet games evening in the summer, treasure hunts and a party in January. We also include a thinking time each week which usually takes the form of a bible story. Our final meeting for the summer is usually a barbecue on the beach Burton Bradstock.

Parents – please note that all our leaders have been CRB checked and if you would like to find out more please ring Vyv Hayden on 01308 538894.

Village Lunch Club

The club is organised by Holy Trinity church but is open to anyone and is held in the King’s Head pub.

Lunches are normally served on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month but confirmation of the dates can be found in “The Bridge” magazine.

Prices are at a special rate and are very reasonable. You will be welcome to come and enjoy lunch and to socialize with others.
