CURRENT PROJECTS:

– WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE FITNESS EQUIPMENT – a piece of accessible fitness equipment has been added to the Gore Cross Recreation Area Fitness Trail providing wheelchair users with the opportunity to enjoy an upper body workout on the Wheelchair Combi Pull Down Challenger & Power Push.

A wheelchair friendly access gate has also been installed adjacent to this equipment.

Arrangements are in place to add additional seating particularly designed for wheelchair users and to improve the access paths both at this site and at the nearby Pageants Field.

Heavy rainfall has delayed progress with this. Bridport Town Council has undertaken to ensure that the work is completed and paid for from the Parish Council funds “earmarked” or the purpose.
