To enable Bradpole Parish Council to continue to make day to day decisions relating to the provision of basic council services during the period of the COVID-19 Crisis councillors have adopted a “Scheme of Delegation”.
A log of the decisions made under this scheme is maintained and is available upon request from: email@example.com
The 2020 Coronavirus Act provides for all councils to hold “virtual” meetings, if required, to determine any critical or key decisions that may become necessary.
Bradpole Parish Council receives guidance from the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) in these matters who have said that councils need to take account of their individual circumstances and requirements.
In the absence of meetings with councillors the Chairman of the council, together with the Parish Clerk, provides a regular report to councillors which includes decisions applied under the Scheme of Delegation.
